Southern Arkansas University President Trey Berry was named as the next chancellor of Henderson State University.
Trey Berry, an Arkansas native, Has been the President of Southern Arkansas University since 2015.
He has done a lot of good things for SAU and He and his wife are excited to move back "home". Berry stated that he literally grew up on the HSU campus and is expecting his work will make a huge impact on the school and the town for the better.
Trey Berry was announced as the next chancellor of Henderson State University effective Jan. 1, 2024, the university announced Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023. Berry stated "We want to help Henderson State -- and, really, Arkadelphia -- reach full potential," he added. "We feel we can make a difference."
